Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the age of 14. In addition to BJJ training as well, she was also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. At age 18, Ladd made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd later went on to take down three opponents in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were finished within the first five minutes. After that, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by the first round TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen rise into the Bantamweight division after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her impressive wrestler skills to knock down McGill and ended her via the third round TKO(elbows or punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen was a dominant Hoy and defeated her in the second round with a TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last match in the organization. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round at the end of the 2nd. Ladd continued to dominate and racked up an impressive victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd took the win at the start of round one, and was awarded the Performance of the Night Bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks for her first significant fight. Both fighters fought a close fight that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. The third time she fought on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
