Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss, a bluegrass fiddler from Tennessee who was 19, was a major world-renowned artist in 1990, after receiving the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album. Krauss's third album, I've Got That Old Feeling received the accolade even though she was only 19 years old. Too Late To Cry is her debut album. It came out in Champaign Illinois when Krauss was sixteen years old. When she was 14, she signed for her debut album with Rounder Records - one of the most prestigious folk music labels. Krauss's achievements at such a young age, as well as her skill, are consistently confirmed by her ability to maintained her devotion to bluegrass, one of America's most enduring and least appreciated musical genres. Krauss at one time the hottest teenager in America, had matured into a musician as well as a producer.
